Hey, friends stop guessing. Both kind of shield protect in same way. No difference. Chanse of hitting them is equal. The difference is in structure of single one. If you have 5, and some one comes and destroy 3 of them, you will endup with 3 shields. If you have one heavy, it will remains....It is even more if you multiply this by 10, you will loose many small shields, compared to heavy ones...This is the same like ships...more structure - less fallen in battle, because they are auto recoverd after battle.

I knew that The defender reconstructs 60% of his destroyed defense turrets. The shield is not a defense turret. Is a Shield.

All the facility you ordered from Defence menu all have that 60% reconstructs function.
