I am confused about what happens at the beginning of the new round.

Do we all get reset to 1 undeveloped planet?

Or, do we carry on with just the points being reset?

Or, something else?

Well you start with 1 planet with no buildings, sciences, etc. and you have a minimal quantity of resources.

ok, so new round = total reset.
