A displayed date, '11.10.08' to someone from America means: November 10th, 2008.
A displayed date, '11.10.08' to someone from the UK means: 11th October 2008.
To avoid this ambiguity, I suggest that three alphabetical letters should denote the month, i.e. 11 Oct 08.
Similarly, in the UK a full stop '.', is only used as a decimal point. A comma ',' is used to denote the separation of millions and thousands.
I suggest that all numbers be displayed, separated accordingly, i.e. 123.897 would become 123,897.
Said format 'rule' to be applied to both the game and this Forum.
The above would allow Bulfleet to use one international standard, avoiding any confusion caused by national formats.
Note: There is already one posting in this Forum where a player became confused and misunderstood the displayed date shown in the current format.
