Are Defenses worth it?

There will always be a bigger and badder guy who will love to recycle them :D Though sometimes, when you have really large amount of defenses most of the guys will think twice, as they will probably see no profit in losing most of their ships just to get a small deal of extra resources. And, as you know, the ships take time to be rebuilt, time that can be used for recycling easier targets
