If you were gone "3-4 days", the military reports from someone destroying your fleet and defences would have been wiped.
Non-Bulfleet General accounts have their messages removed after 24 hrs. Bulfleet General, 48 hrs.
I'd say someone's attacked you continously and recycled your defenses a couple of days before those attacks.
