must be a joke right? or a giANT BuG! seriously it might as well be, because how are automatic robots going to get into our game anyway? they cant so it should be taken off or given a reasonable explanation!

The whole point is that every 40min you have to enter the numbers by hand. Or in other words the integrated for example in Opera auto page refresher wont work anymore ... or the mozilla firefox add-on that do the same.

So every 40min which you are playin, ur obligated to authenticate yourself with the game engine

As a professional PHP/MySQL/AJAX/Javascript/HTML programmer and web designer I'm going to try to explain it in extremely simple terms that most people who are not familiar with how scripting works can understand it.

Refreshers:
There are a lot of web browsers out there that can automatically refresh a web page at a specified time. This means, that if you did the math and figured out you earn say 10,000 metal, crystals and gas every hour, you could technically build something and setup a refresher to upgrade that building every hour on the hour automatically, without you having to actually be at your computer.

More advanced forms of scripting, action emulation as I call it:
Some programmers, mainly VB.net ones, have figured out various ways of automatically reading and intrepreting items on a web page, such as your crystals, metal, etc. In addition, they can develop programs that can record your actions and repeat them at specified times. More advanced programs of these types can be developed to refresh a page, lets say every 5 minutes, read how much metal crystals and gas you have, read how much is required to purchase the next say Science Facility, and then if you have enough, actually purchase the science facility for you.

It's seriously not a complicated process and there are MANY other types of bots out there. Adding a botcheck prevents people from using automated programs for any longer than 40 minutes, although there are clever programmers out there who can actually code programs that will do a bot-check for you, however, the botcheck eliminates 99.99% of the botting as 99% of the people botting have no idea how to actually program anything themselves but instead are simply using a program someone else made.


So, instead of simply moaning about some annoying little thing you have to do every 40 minutes you should be happy the developers actually decided to implement something to prevent people from cheating, as without a bot-check, I HIGHLY doubt you would have any chance in hell at ever reaching a top spot in this game.

i was only helping myself by making sure it wasnt really some joke, now also if anyone wants to know why they can look here and find out why there is a botcheck

There were many bot's released, and many ever-online accounts.
So we have learned our lesson...
The bot check, will stay to any further change...
