Defense and recycling

What new things would you like to see in Bulfleet? Give input on other ideas!

Yes, you are right... building defense IS pointless unless you are a terteth (the 15% cheaper defenses will keep you out of trouble for some time)

And then again... if the attacker cannot recycle the resources, someone else from his alliance will with a timed recycle/attack action. And then they will share the resources.

So is pointless anyway building defenses ;)
1) Just be patient: every pig will be sacrificed sooner or later.
2) You can't find something if you don't know what you're looking for.
3) Everybody lies, the only variable is about what.

Than what will be the point of the Recycle mission? And why would we build recyclers? Just to astropolate?... Why don't you propose to convert this game in Sim City? Or PeaceFleet, where no spies or attacks will be allowed? :lol:

So where is the thrill of the game, when none will attack you.Just mining/digging and spending resources for defense.It's for lamers, sorry dude, but if you want this style of playing the game, tetris is your calling.

The thrill? A bit vitriolic, eh?

There is a huge amount of gain you can get from building a fleet. Defenses are also vulnerable to bombers and can be destroyed fairly easily if done right. If you just sit back and mine without a fleet, then you'll probably not advance as quickly as an aggressive and skilled player.

Making defenses unable to be recycled is not to eliminate the thrill, it is to balance the system a bit. Why build defenses really? You can fleet save an armada, but defenses have no such advantage. 60% can be saved, but after a few attacks the 60% becomes little more than an additional resource farm for your attacker. The 60% is in some ways an attempt to balance fleet saving with defenses I believe, but I do not believe that this balance goes far enough.

A simple possible suggestion might be to allow you to not assign defenses to defend. That way, if you are being harassed hard, you can slowly build up a defense even while being attacked. At a certain point you can drop your entire defense down and perhaps survive in a way that you couldnt if you had to build a defense while being attacked on a regular basis.

yep, but when this defense don't bring debris, so no one will attack you, because he/she will has more losses, that he/she will steal.So with this suggestion - you (as a defense player) want to be "unattackable".The name of the game is bulfleet just give us the idea that the gameplay should be attackable(using fleets) not defenceble.You must keep away from the attackers, with saving your fleet and resources, not with building 100 plasma guns, 1000 Lasers and 100 shields.If you think about that, you will find that attacks are for stealing resources and getting recycles.Then when one defensable account has no resources, and only turrets, it will be out of the game or just invulnerable.So there're debris from the turrets, and everyone is equal - fleeters, and turtles, no invulnerable accounts.
