Only FFs (like you use it) can be sent on such mission. The defender can use only FFs if he/she is going to stop the attacker. All other defender ships are not participating in this battle.

You must prefer to send against defender who don't have FFs. Beacuse if there are a battle between FFs will occure.

Ok, Im' just trying to understand the whole pirating thing, I can send FF on a pirate mission to someone within my coefficient, they can have defense and a whole fleet of ships, but as long as they don't have any FF's there will be no battle and I can take whatever resources my FF's can carry?

Well now I understand why a FF fleet is so important, I couldn't understand why everyone was stressing the smallest ship, now I get it.
