science labs stack?

Good questions. Increasing the levels of your science lab does decrease the time for future research projects. However, I would discourage building science labs on several planets because they don't share levels. In other words, 2 level 1 labs on different planets don't make a level 2 lab. If you want to get to the higher levels requirements to unlock researching technologies, increase the labs on one planet. The benefits of the research projects cover all of your planets.

EXTRA INFO -- The Shipyard on the other hand doesn't work this way. If you want to build ships or turrents on other planets, you would have to increase the level of your shipyard on each planet that you intend to build such items.
