So far the system works fine. The basic truth that new players must consider is that the game is made so that invulnarable accounts do not exist. If you are not active and careful you are cannon fodder. So do not think that building zillions of turrets will save you. This game is about flying. And flying precisely. There are enough sharks and hyenas that will point out your mistake. And they usually do that with a military report.

I think you're attacked so many times, because you forget ships, resources and turrets.If you haven't anything on the planets, anyone won't attack you.
