The laser is an optical device, that produces an intensive monochromatic ray of light. It has its ways in all technologies - in espionage and computer systems, and also in ships' armaments. Laser systems are the base for developing weaponry systems.

Does it mean that the higher level the more damage will ship/cannons cause or is this technologie worth researching for example just to level 10, because it is necessary for another technology?

And one more question - what technology will increase the damege of cannons (laser cannon, gaus cannon, ion cannon, plasma gun)?

Is is like this that laser technology is for laser cannon, ion tech. for ion cannon and so on or how is it?

I could not find it anywhere, so please, if you know the answer, could you tell me?

Unfortunately the description is quite misleading and if I must be honest not correct.

More Lasers won't increase the chance of destroying enemy spy probes. And the higher level Lasers tech. wont increase the turrets or ships damage. The only technology that affects the damage done by the defense systems is the Weapons research.
