unable to upgrade energy sys research

I have lvl5 energy systems research already. now when i try to increase it even more it upgrades the one above it, shields.
So far i have tried:Selecting upgrade shields to try and do the reverseselecting the research below energytried selecting energy research again 3 times to check if i had clicked to upgrade shields insteadAll of these didnt work so can you guys do anything?
im using firefox with Google accelerator. Google accelerator shouldn't clash with the links but it needs checking.

The first troubleshooting thing to do would be to turn Google Accelerator off to see if that makes a difference. You are right that it shouldn't make a difference, but we have to eliminate it to be sure. If that fixes it, can you play without it?

Yep its fixed the problem. Could you maybe put this bug in the FAQ or something like that to tell other people about it. Also dont worry i think the bug is a problem with Google accelerator because i had other problems with missing links on other browser based games.

Well, I am just another player, not part of the Bulfleet staff, but I hope other players will search the forums for "accelerator" and find this thread.
