I think I have it figured out but please let me know if any of this is wrong. Perhaps it will be useful to newbies.

In an attack, this is the defense order:

1.- The fighting ships, including any spy probes, take damage until destroyed.

2.- Then the non-fighting ships (cargo, megacargo, recycler, colonizer and tanker) take damage until destroyed.

3.- Then the solar satellites take damage until destroyed.

4.- Then the planet defenses take damage until destroyed.

If the planet defenses include shields or megashields:All defenses take damage until destroyed except Laser Beacons.Laser Beacons are destroyed last.Destroyed megashields leave debri fields.Destroyed shields do not leave debri fields.5.- If everything is destroyed, and the attacker has remaining ships, the attacker wins; otherwise, it is a tie.

when I attack people, their recyclers were destroyed in first round as well, I mean sometimes, the defender didnot lost battle ships but the recycler first..

by the way, for the attacker, I always find that my battle ships were destroyed from the right side most of time. For example, I use Field fighter, guardian, speeder as my fleets, speeder was the destroyed firstly, then guardian, then FF. but that's not for sure. and there three kind of ships should at an even amount.

Recyclers, colonizers and tankers are destroyed alongside the combat ships. They belong in 1.- . I'm not sure what is the priority of the solar satelites. Also I really don't think that laser beacons are the last to be hit by the attacking fleet, I think they have the same priority as the rest of the defence guns. Note that ff you have only laser beacons and rockets your shields are ALWAYS going to be attacked before these, if you have bigger guns there is a chance they will be targeted before the shields. Also, besides attacker win and tie, there is always the possibility of the defender winnig, remember!
