Is it legal to give somebody resources?

I know you have to have 10,000 points to send resources to another player, but does it break the rules to give someone resources? Is there a legal limit?

Giving resources to someone is prohibited, unless he returns them in one week. If you want to know the reason - imagine 10-20 players transporting 1 000 000 resource each and all goes to one player only... then what will happen?

Yea, I can imagine. I thought there might be a legal limit, for example, one hour production per day or something like that.

so does this mean i can send resources to a player and posibly charge interest on them and in a week he can pay me back and what not and that is legal? if so i see a business prospect arising.

No, I found out that's not possible either. Check the game menu Information. Click on Conditions. That's where all the game rules are. I hadn't seen them when I asked the question, but the fact is that trades are allowed but they must be equal (no gifts and no interest charges).
