Effect of Armor/Weapon/Shield research on ships/defences

Hey! Sorry if this question was already asked, i did some searches but couldnt find anything interesting:)

If i get this right, armor r. gives ships/turrets 5% bonus to structure for every level and weapon r. gives 10% to ships/turrets attack power.
so what does the shield r. give?

Oh and im building a calculator for bulfleet.It only calculates attack/struct power of you and your opponent, but is still useful.
Where may i post it?

The Shield research gives you also 5% structure for every level. It's like the Armor research, but it wants crystals.
