field fighter

Hello guys!
this guy i want to attack have field fighters....
they will defend if the mission is attack?
i'm confused because in battle simulator they defend...

Ofcourse they do! What did you expect? They are normal ships like the others

The English information in the game makes you believe they only defend against other field fighters.

Yes, when mission type is PIRATE - for this one only field fighters will be involved in battle.

When mission type is ATTACK all ships involved in the mission - both attacker and defender - will fight.
