With a colony ships new planet is established - colony. 5 planets per user is the limit - 1 main and 4 colonies.
An EMPTY (no user on it) coordinate may be colonised anywhere in the universe.
Most people build their 1-st colony in the same system, as the starting (main) one, but on different position.
After constructing a colony ship, in the colonise menu input the empty coordinates you have chosen in the appropriate fields and give order.
After some time (the colony ship is the slowest one) you will have your brand new second planet, ready for develpoment.
The planet starts with no building on it.
But the researches you have made are valid no matter what planet is currently active.
Fields depending on planet's positioning in the system:
The rule is:
x:xxx:1-6 - receives 80 to 120 fields
x:xxx:7-10 - receives 100 to 180 fields
x:xxx:11-16 -receives 120 to 220 fields
This is valid for all of the colonies.
However, the first, starting planet, which you receive upon registering, has a bit more fields, regardless the position in the system.
Energy from sattelites depending on planet's positioning in the system:
The formulae for energy flow from a single solar sattelite is:
energy = 50-(2*Х)
where X is tha planet's third coordinate (it's position in the solar system)
(for example on planet 2:10:3, Х=3, so energy from a single sattelite there is 50-(2x3)=44).
