Why would i destroy someone's fleet if i can steal his resources with my pirates...
And he won't be able to return fire because of my defense...
Simple... Mid game i'll change tactics...

Okay, I'll tell ya. If I were an attacker near you... and I had Star fighters, first I'll smash your fighters on Pirate mission, than your weaker defense on a real Attack... and if you want to steal good resources with the fighters... you need a lot of . You can't use all tactics in one account. The game, there are much good players as you suggest in it... of course, it depends of which universe you play in... if it is the romfleet... that's something like the Bulfleet Single Player version... ;D

I've got 4 colony producing 1 pirate ship every 3 hours... I think that won't be easy destroying my pirate ships...
Aside from that i'll be resource saving my fleet instead of going head to head when attack by pirates...
I'm on my way to building Megashield on my home workld, so i think i'm doing fine...

I'm near Guardian Tech... I'm still thinking weather to go defence + pirates...
Or purely Guardian Ship... Hmmm.... Maybe you can help me out...
What do you think is better?

I'm online 19 hours per day... But after a few weeks that may change to only 5 to 8 hrs per day :'(
that's why i'm thinking of doing defense + pirates... So my home world is protected....

Hahah. Yes, it won't be... if you're the first one in the statistic. But if you aren't... what are you thinkin' - nobody builds fleet еxcept you maybe? Hah, wrong. ;D And like I told you already... you build pirate ships + defense. Not pure fleet of pirate ships like someone else. So to think that there is no person with more pirate ships in the whole universe... I can bet there are many. And the universe is not so big as you think now . Anyway... it looks like everyone has his own way to learn to play... to gain experience... etc. I'm not going to tell you what to do... you'll see for yourself; the time learns .

P.S.: Everyone thinks that his own home world is protected until got smashed and recycled for first time... =]

P.S.2: Yep, Guardians are very good. Actually, one of the best ships here. Pure fleet of Guardians, or of Battleships, or of Speeders... these are the best ways you can do it right.

How about pure fleet of Fighter? Will it work? As fragile as they are... I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing... Building pure Guardian takes a lot more time And they can't do Pirate attack...
How about 1/5 Guardian 4/5 Fighter? Is it better than pure fleet of Fighter?

P.S. I followed your advice and scrapped all my defences (Nope, I didn't get attack, I just change my mind)...

Oh yeah, I didn't scrapped my Mega Shield in my Home planet...
What do you think, should I also scrapped this one?
Am not leaving my fleet at home base when i'm going offline...

If you are Miops - star fighters are good ships and they've got the pirate function... if you're not and you can't build STAR fighters... then Guardians are the best decision, but that's only in my opinion. Yes, they definitely takes a lot more time than scouts or fighters, but they're much stronger. The time is not so much... look how much it takes to build a Battlecruiser and you'll see the difference (btw B-cruisers are the best) ;D

To leave not your fleet, when you're offline is the best way you can keep it. Yep, better to scrape this s**t .

Like the collegue up there I can just give you my opinion that the Battleship is the Ultimate weapon in this game - at least for me Once gained, many B.S. (battle ships) in one they become indestructible ... Kidding of course

In the English version our "Battle ship" (= "Боен кораб") is called "Battlecruiser", mate . Just like the "Cruiser" (= "Кръстосвач") is a "Guardian" to them... pf, whatever...

P.S.: Sorry if I sound like a pessimist, but I think that mayaman is still a recruit here, so the Guardian is a better ship (mostly because of its speed) on small points... mmm, anyway, the Simulator can be very helpful to find out what is better by himself =]
