Actually its not smart, its just a Database game.
They just keep a constant database.
its actually an extremely easy way to make a net text based game.
Im sure its making them plenty of money for a concept that prolly wasn't even there original work. I know the graphics they are using for the ships can be brought off the net. The graphics from the building are from some game. Im Surprised George Lucas aint sueing for the Use of the Death Star Image.
Theres plenty of these games around.

5. Flooding
Flooding means to send resources from another account without any resources sent back. Flooding doesn't include just a simple resource transport, but includes this few examples:
- Sending resource to a planet from which it can be picked up by many attacks;
- Attacks by a smaller fleet with the aim to create recycle, which is being picked up by a big account and isn't given back to the attacker;
- Other ways in which an account sends resource without nothing back (trade).
