Redirection of fleets

i think it would be a good ideea if we could redirection the fleets if we don't need more to attack the 1st destination because it takes long time for the ships to come back, yes there it's the gas problem, but we could give them more gas at the exit

It has been proposed, such thing ... And it has been declined - I can asure you, there were very good reasons for that

... It's just useless

is one way to redirect the fleets through shortcuts(named planets here).colonizing planets in different system are clasified in this game as shortcuts.

You think why.
