I just clicked on something and I was "recruited". The person who recruited me got resources. How do recruit others?

If you recruited someone... How can you be sure that he registered using the url you given?
He could cancel it once he read it... get back again the next day and register but not using the recruit url i gave earlier...

To make the question simple, can I be able to see the list of people I recruited and joined in the same Universe?
