My ships are not getting any faster...

I research on Jet engines but i don't think my ship is getting faster... Or maybe i just don't notice the time...
I'll know when i reach the next level...
Every ship has different engines right? So to make it faster, you must research the necessary tech?

Earm... Just want to ask... Is it possible to send defence? How to send defence on other players? Cause i'm looking at fleet commands and nothing written there... Is it station command?

If there is a defence command, i can use it instead of attacking inactive to save my fleet?

Well I think I have explained it to you, but let me try again.
So All the engines are proper of all the ships - I mean that Impulse systems make out for Scouts it doesn't matter that scouts don't use that technology and Jet engines are useful for Guardians and Speeders as well but they don't need this research ! Every ship is gaining speed with every speed technology - no matter the ship's engine !
And you can try this, so you could be sure that speed is increasing, Go to menu Fleets choose a Cargo or another ship and just type a coordinate to see for how long are you going there (u make it before u research another engine) after the research is ready do the same thing with the same coordinate and the same type of ship ... You will notice - the difference isn't that big for that stage of developpement but later it's getting much more faster

No, defence can't be used for attacking - you can't send defence ... It is sticked down to ground as hardly as possible and it does not fly, so try with some ships

For my second question, let me rephrase it...
If i have many ships... and a friend of mine got an attacker... and i'm with in his coefficient how can i send my ships to help him defend his planet?

Because all i can see on ship command is attack... there is no defend command...
Is it the station command? Can the same apply for pirate attack? or you can only defend for ordinary attack?

Unfortunately there is no way you can help your m8 if he is being attacked ! The saying "If you can't help yourself even God can't help you!" - that stands for bulfleet too ... I was thinkin' about what you mean exactly and the answer is still - No ... I can give you one advise ! If you or your mate is under attack (that includes the time you are offline) you HAVE TO send your ships to fleet saving, we call it Saven (Oops, now I've noticed you are familiar with that in the first post ) ! You send your ships on low speed percent to an (i)-inactive player or in the case of Uni 3 (where (i)-s haven't showed up yet, they show after the 14th day of inactivity) to a player with less points - you must know what kind of defence or fleets is he having - so any unnecessary accidents could be avoided ... So you send it slower and make sure it (your fleet) returns for time that you'll be able to "meet" it ! Give that advise to your m8 if you want !

Mission "Station" is used to send your ships to some of your other planets ... You can't station fleet to another person's planet ! So that's it !

Edit: I can't understand what you ask about the "Pirate" mission ... It is executable only from Field fighters who are Pirate ships as the Star fighters (Miops only) and with this type of mission you surround the defender's fleet and defences and take straight from his resorces - that's if the defender does NOT have any Pirate Ships (Filed or Star Fighters) - otherwise you will have a battle !

Megashield protects turrent 100% and 50% for ships... Correct?

Does this mean that if i spent 10K Metal & Crystal and it get destroyed,
it will leave the same amount of resources on the recycle field?

Actually there was an old problem bug with the recycle of Shields... now it's OK . Try the Battle Simulator if you have any doubts. You'll see...

P.S.: About the Megashield... You can simulate that too and get the results =]

Then the Satellite, Cargo & MegaCargo are also protected by Mega Shield?

Question: Does shield regenerate 60% after battle too?

This regeneration of defence only happens at the end of the battle... not by per round of battle, right? So if i'm complete obliterated... i'll have 60% of my turrent rising from the dead at the end of the battle... cool, zombie turrents

Yes, it is but always do the calculating a number of times, so you can be more preciseful with the recycling parts that will left after the battle ! Because there is a chance between 25% and 35% of the whole structure (or should I say what you have spend for buidling the ships) that will left - So it's a matter of luck ! The attacking fleet is hitting at random deffence turret or ship (only Cargos and Satelites go down last) So the shield does not protect your ships ... Just the deffences at 100% - Now, it's by chance what will the attacking fleet hit first - the shields or your ships

Well if you have 3 Shields after the battle 2 will reconstruct (regenerated) The shields do not reconstruct their selfs after a battle ... The number of defences is being "regenerated" The most simple example is ... If you have 100 Rocket launchers and after a battle (if you lose them all) 60 will be reconstruct ... If you have 1 Shield and it's being destroyed it won't regenerate !

Thank you... I think i'll stick to defence for now...
If any one could break into my defence, i'll scapped all of it them buy ships... (then maybe active 72 hours protection)...
but for now defense is ok bcoz its very early stage....
