20hour Rule...

Well,have you heard of WoW players in Korea ... About 500 people have died so far in internet cafes - men left their wifes and children,quit jobs - just to play 24/7 for 3 weeks (until the worst happen) WoW ! Well I bet that can't happen here
! But it is probably better ! You know there are kids that can't judge how many hours they have passed in playing (I know it from personal experiance
) ! So some people should be a bit thankful about that administrator's decision

Believe me, I can understand you completely. I used to play tick-based game and people gave me a nickname "24-ticker". This rule was actually implied a long time ago when some people developed bots (automated scripts) so they can never appear offline, thus they were invincible (or at least extremely hard to hit). The Administrator team developed the "Botcheck" thing in order to resolve the issue with the bots, additionally the 20 hours rule was created. Eventually, everybody goes to sleep, so more than 20 hours looks like babysitting, which is also forbidden by the game rules. There are some work-arounds (which I am not going to discuss here) which can bypass the babysitting checks, however the 20 hours rule still does its job well.
