Surviving against stronger players

I am being attacked by 3 different players, each with more than double the points I have. It's incredibly hard to do much against this. I can't build enough of a fleet to kill off 40 battleships or 100 guardians given how much I am being hit. These all seem to be random attacks too. Any advice?

The advice is easy - instead of trying to kill out the attackers, persuade them it is not worth to attack you. You can do this in the following way:

1. Build few megacargoes and wait for them to go out of the shipyard.
2. Load all your resourses and send the ships to attack an inactive player.
3. Login 10 minutes before your ships touch down. Build some more cargoes and fleetsave again.

Remember, be online when the production queue is over and when the fleetsave lands. Login in shorter periods - the longer you stay offline, more resources you gather, more attractive raid destination you become. Do not leave ships, turrets or resources and no one should bother to attack you.

I went through a 3 day period where I got owned again and again and couldn't build squat... I ended up staying on for like 18 hours on the 3rd day and made SURE I invested ALL my resources in buildings, etc... If you have nothing for them to kill and recycle and you have no resources on hand, they'll give up...

After that I build some cargoships and every time i went to sleep I looked for an inactive player, spied to make sure they had no defense, loaded all my resources into the cargoships and attacked an inactive player with the cargoships.. (Pick someone far away so it takes ur ships a long time)

Your ships won't unload the resources until they return to your base....

Just make sure you NEVER have ships at your base when you're not online... Gives people an incentave to hit you and recycle your planet...

Once you start getting the hang of it build some guardians / battlecruisers, and before you go offline, take ALL your guardians / battlecruisers AND your cargoships, load up all your resources and attack someone you can easily defeat.. This way you a) steal some resources, b) keep your own from being stolen while ur ships r gone and c) it makes sure you have nothing for others to recycle when they attack you...

Oh, I think i got it, I was going to get another Planet at least they can't attack 2 planets and I can restore the resources

I see that you don't get it. They can attack you 10 times a day... Or 5 times a day if they attack both your planets. So listen carefully. Every time when someone attacks you. Wait 5 minutes or more/less (depending on your speed at sending ships) before the attack arrives and then send all your ships and all your resources to attack an inactive player or a player who is in white color (it doesn't matter, since the attack isn't gonna reach him). It's recommended that you send the fleet at 10% speed, so that it costs you as less gas as possible. Then when 3 minutes have passed from the moment you send the ships give a "go back" order (3 minutes if you sent the ships 5 minutes before the attack). That way the attacker will attack an empty planet and your ships will be safe on your planet a while after that. And here is part two: When you are away from the PC do the same thing, except that you must attack only inactive players for safety reasons. Make sure they have 0-40 points (If they have 0-40 points they will not have anything but resources on their planets). And instead of returning the attack you leave it flying. Don't search for inactive players too far. It's enough to attack a close player on 10-30% speed. Depending on how long you will not be on the PC. If you will be away for 5 hours, make sure that when you fleetsave, the travel time to the inactive player is near 2 and a half hours. That way your ships will be safe in the air from enemies.

FLEET-SAVING

The most important thing a newby needs to keep his ships safe ! ! !

First - how to defend your self ...Well it depends if you choose to build deffence turrets most or develop your fleet ! If you are a fleeter and do not have turrets you should have recyclers and cargos, yes ? Well then, when you are away from keyboard - you have to keep away your fleets away to a fleetsave too - upload all your resources, then choose an inactive player (i) against who you send your fleet to lower speed per cent and make sure that your fleet and resources will be back on the planet when you are able to sit on a PC so you could meet them ! As simple as that ! If you want to send against a more-developped player do an espionage before that with some Probes, just in case
And if you are a turret player you should keep your mine levels higher, build up some Field Fighters to protect your self from Pirates or Cargos to avoid them when under attack and don't develop much your researches (like impulse, jet ,hyper and ultra speed engines - if you don't fly they are most unnecessary) except those needed for the def turrets (like Laser, Ion and Plasma systems ... Attack ana shields as well ! )
