Base energy

Hi, i just started in the new game and was wondering why i can't use the base energy income.

If you look at energy you see 100 base energy, but it is not visable in the energy income.
can somebody explain me how that works?

this resource exactly is your energy supply, which is needed for new buildings, most buildings(like mines) will consume that energy supply spent to build it

I know that you don't store energy, but if you look in your goverment screen,
then you see the starting income of your planet.
You have a basic income of 20 metal, 10 crystal and 100 engergy.

The first two, the 20 metal and 10 crystal are counted towards your income from your mines,
the 100 engergy i can't find back in the total sum of the energy.

can you explain that?

Yes i do know that, i understand that completely, that is not what i'm asking about, please try to understand what i am saying,
when you start a game you have a 100 base energy, where does it stand for? look at this picture, nobody seems to know where that's for.. in my world one and speed test game its both the same, and its not counted towards my energy income.

Like i try to explain the base mineral income is counted towards your total income, why isn't your base energy
counted towards your energy income. I looks like it is ment to be some energy to start your game with.
why other is that 100, standing there, like it is now you could write there a million and it wouldn't change annything.

You were right. That was cosmetically not true. During the beta test of the new version we experimented a bit with a base energy of 100.
But it did not prove to be a good idea, so we changed it back to 20. This is the actual base energy. Please note that in the government screen
there MIGHT be again a difference +/-2-3 % in the energy calculation, but the actual income is absolutely accurate having in mind the race/specialty/base energy values and modificators.
