I just chose to upgrade to Energy Systems level 6 right now and it said 3:12:00, meaning 3 hours, 12 minutes and 0 seconds.

this is no error.
Energy System can be upgraded with Science Facility at level 1. What you did was start the research in a planet that has low level Science Facility and then, when you look at the research screen from a planet with higher Science Facility level it will show you a lower necessary time for the same upgrade.
edit: and btw... why are you using ABP plug-in to block the commercials from bulfleet? It is highly prohibited to use any scripts that interact with the game.

Oh yeah I have ABP on my home computer xD
But im not using it since im paying to be Bullfleet general so I dont see any adds anyway xP
