Using Firefox 2.0.0.9, the countdown timer on the buildings page looks like this for any building who's timer is longer than 1 hour for the construction time... However, when I go to the "status" page, it shows the time for me... The SECOND the timer reaches 59:59 it looks normal, but anything more than that and it looks like the following image:

I have this as well. It appears to be because of the following Javascript error:
