Information on Astroplotation

Anyone can give some info on Astroplotation? How does this work? What do you get?

In my galaxy just came a asteroid by. He is at the coords of another planet. So - what can i do?

- Sending one ship to this coords with the order astroplotation? And then?

A.) Does it has to be a special ship or will a Cargo do fine
B.) How many rounds shall it go there or doesn´t it matter
C.) What will I get for this hassle?

You need a Reclycler or Tanker for Astroplotation.
Every asteroid has specified speed, you can see it when hover your cursor over the А symbol. Then you must check when your Recyclers will be there, and calculate where you must send them to match the fleet with the asteroid location. And you send them on the calculated coordinates.
You can get from 500 up to 100 000 gas from asteroid, it is randomly generated. Also other players can do the same, lefting just the half of the gas after them.

Do Asteroids appear at random locations and times or do they always start in the same place? I.E. certain coordinates?

How often do new ones appear.

Does reducing an asteroid to less then 1000 gas (and thus destroying it) help to increase new asteroid development.
In other words are there only a certain number of asteroids per galaxy at a time?

There are no exact coordinates of asteroids' start point.

With every depleted asteroid there is new one to replace it. The number of asteroid is constant.
