IMO its a Cheat to attack and then go in to protection,
it should be done that you can only attack if not under protection
Coz technically these means your fleet is "Protected" and should not be able to be attacked
though it could be changed that protection could be changed to something like "Ancient Super shield" or something along those lines thus explaining why ships can pass still pass though it
Technically, what stops you from meeting the attacking fleet at your planet if you are so selfconfident that you can win? Ask somebody about Bobeto vs. Troll case :-)

But the protections are limitted.So if the players are so stupid to use their protections for this and don't save it, the protections will be used up.Then if you saved your protections, you can attack him, make counter-attacks, and you can use your a protection like your enemy, when he hasn't ANY PROTECTIONS.It wouldn't be fair, if the protections was unlimitted, but they're limitted.

Sounds a little unfair that... Has it been put in the bugs forum thingy yet?
It's a real cocky way of doing things and i'd do it if i just want to win. But the game is too much fun just to run an hide!
I like the idea of waiting for his protection to end and then return the favour though, that would really throw a spanner in the works
