Field Fighters Keep Attacking

I have (1) member of bulfleet that raids and steals from me 5-10 times a day. I have defenses in place, but they seem to have no effect. Here are a list of my defenses:

53 - VVG Rockets
35 - Laser Beacons
48 - Laser Cannons
2 - Gaus Guns
4 - Ion Cannons
2 - Shields
1 - Mega Shield

What I am wondering is why my defenses never stop his field fighters?

I keep trying to build field fighters but I am having all my resources stolen while I try to install enough defenses to get a large number of field fighters built for defense.

Yaaaa, this dude uses the Pirate mission. You can check more in the FAQ about the Pirate mission

Defenses don't stop FFighters on Piracy mission, they can be only stopped from other FFs'.
Well, You can build transport ships to keep your resources safe by transporting them , until you have enough to build the needed amount of Fighters.....

This FF situation is a complete joke, that's like saying all of Earth's defenses couldn't stop 25 jets. The way I see it is if you have enough resources to build ships, ground defenses are obsolete since they don't work when you build them anyways. Damn it this ridiculous game makes me angry.

The good or the bad of this mission is that the FF's have really low cargo capacity and they can take max 1/4 of the resources stored on the planet So it isn't so much used. I use the FF's only to make smn go crazy, I can't really take huge advantage of FF's cause I should build thousands of them. And they are quite useless in normal combat

Also, the FFs' don't cost their price when going at Piracy....the must do a huge amount of flights to pay their cost.
