I think it's true, every 2-3 minutes, but you have to refresh the page to see the difference.

Energy does not accumulate. It is a constant, but energy usage is also constant. For example, if you have 100 energy, and your buildings require 100 energy, then you're ok.

Your energy will not go negative. You cannot build a new level of mines if you do not have enough energy. It will say under the building, "Not enough energy." So then you have to upgrade your solar panels first.

Yes, you have new buildings for every planet. However, you do not need to build every building on every planet. For example, you can have just one Science Facility and do all your research from that planet. The same goes for the Trade Center.

When you are on vacation, your mines do not produce. When you return from vacation, you must visit the government page for each planet to restart production.

The resource chart is confusing and doesn't show everything, so I don't use it for anything. ;)

The Building page*.

Now, for the questions:
Sharing
Yep, the science facility is not compulsory for all your planets. The researches and their levels are for your account as a whole.

Each planet have its own buildings and mines, and planets have maybe million miles between, so I think the answer is obviously - Not :}.

If your planet goes down, or the Deathstar can destroy only a few levels of buildings (include the Science f.), you must build the Science f. (or its lost levels) on new planet to have the ability to research more levels of your researches.
Researches are permanent - researched once, they can't be destroyed, deleted, etc.

Planet
When your last planet is down - yes, something like 'GameOver'. Your account is still there, but - no coordinates, no opportunity to play, just stats.

Yes, but delete your current account first. To do that, click on Options (next to News) and scroll down.

On the one hand, though, if all your planets are destroyed, you might as well wait for the next round. It probably wouldn't be long, anyway. On the other hand, having all your planets destroyed is pretty rare, I would think. As long as you have one planet left, you can colonize another four.
