QUOTE(Jenshen73)I'm asking a question to admin Xepa for automatic messaging system. When your language is english to recieve automatic messages in english, not in bulgarian... This is a little programing work[/quote]

Jenshen had a good idea. Now, of course, we cannot expect a complete translation system in the game, and even the Skyweb website is not perfect (http://webtrance.skycode.com). But what about a phrasebook?

A phrasebook would work like this. When you write a message, below the message box there would be a dropdown menu with phrases (like the mission type menu in the Fleets function). You could then select a phrase, and the phrase translation would be inserted into your mail message. If your game language was Bulgarian, the translation would be to English, and vice-versa. Phrases do not need a translation engine because they are translated by humans and then entered into the database. This database could grow with time, even with help from the players. This would allow better communication because the phrases would be translated idiomatically and not literally.

This could also be done automatically for the alliance politics. If the declaration of война is going to an English-speaking player, it should say "war." And if the declaration of war is going to a Bulgarian-speaker, it should say "война."

What do you think?

Great idea! I'm in an alliance since the beginning of Uni 1 and I didn't share a single word with any member yet as they all speak bulgarian. I use recognition from a list of word somewhere on the forum so I can spot some important words, but having it in game would be so much more efficient
