Quick launch spy probe malfunction

Yesterday, the game started launching two identical spy probe missions when I click on the magnifying-glass icon for quick launch for a probe of a planet. This does not occur when I use the other means of launching missions.

Also, I have been getting an error message part of the time when launching quick probes; one saying that I can't attack this player because they are either on vacation or the power difference is too great. This is only with the quick launch for spy probes.
