The income for resources depends on mines level and other bonuses (race, robots, researches etc.).

At the Government menu is shown the income for all your resources per hour. For instance, if it shows for metal: Total income 120, that means that you will receive 120 metal units per hour. If you divide 120 (the income per hour) with 60 (the number of minutes that is equivalent to an hour) you will have something like 120/60 = 2 metal units per minute. If you will multiply 2 units of metal with the time you are interested, in this case 2 minutes, you will have 2 x 2 = 4 metal units for 2 minutes of production.
