I also like this idea/suggestion....I attempted to do it myself by posting my own ranks on my alliance page when I started this round and created "The Swarm" Alliance, I believe the ranks are still there on the Alliance page...went for a Zerg theme from Starcraft....Ranks were Hivemind, HiveQueen, Overmind, Elite Swarmers, and the starting rank of just Swarmer. But theres just no involvement really except to write some text on the page, it would be quite cool to be able to make your own ranks with maybe a small insignia .gif file to go with them

And then again... what's the point?
Why do you need more text (or pictures) for ranks? You get what? More MBs to load?
