I have watched this happen at the end of two round now, and don't really understand why the scoring is done this way. Why would alliance rankings be done on a co-efficient basis, I see many negatives to this and no positives. For one, an Alliance can be the #1 ranked throughout an entire round only too have two high scored players band together the day before the round ends and take #1 rank away from an alliance who worked for it all round. Two, it deters players from joining large Alliances because why do that when the can just be two of them with high scores and be ranked in the top 5, above and ahead of say an alliance that collectively is far stronger than those two players, with say 30 members. Take this as an example.....I am in the Alliance -=FATE=- myself, we have 30 members with the lowest score at 5,000 and 5 players above 50,000 points, but we are ranked 16th....now take an Alliance like Purgatory, with only two members, both above 40,000 points. They are ranked in 6th or 7th place.....and you mean to say they are collectively a stronger Alliance than us...LOL, trust me, they are not....-=FATE=- could collectively rip them too pieces. So the way the scoring is done, why would players want to join an alliance with many members if they have no chance of ever achieving first place? Anyone else have an opinion on this, I'd love to hear them

If anything the scoring should be based on Alliance overall points of all members, this would also make it inticing to players to join Alliances with many members instead of Alliances with 2 to 4 members, also helping players get to meet and know one another as well, because in my own Alliance -=FATE=- I have got to know our members mostly on a personal basis which makes playing Bulfleet much more enjoyable

yep. i totaly agree. :ok:
the union rankings should be based on the overall sum of all members points added together.
or another possibility is that only the first 5 or 10 best ranked in the union members list should be taken into consideration when calculating the coeficient.
now we see many unions having in their info "will accept players only with points around our coeficient, or only players above ...pts admitied". this will not be needed anymore. they will have a chance to accept a new member without falling in the union ranks and eventually make new friends with him or kick him out if they decide to.

I think that the Alliance standings can be calculated both ways ;)

By clicking on the Points - to show the Alliances with the most points.
by clicking on the Coefficient - to show the Alliances sorted by points per member.

These are just two simple requests to the database.

There are many dis/advatanges of smaller or larger teams. The team strength depends only on the players of the team and it has almost nothing in common with the points. The points are just an indicator for the players rankings.
