so what is going on in this place

when sending a ship, the speed says a specific speed, but, what converted speed is this? cannot be miles per hour because i looked it up, and, the distance traveled in the same solar system is 3.365.000km, i looked it up and that is around 2.3million miles away. Impossible! because, the time is ...
