There is no way to know wheter someone else is flying to te recycle field.
You can't send other ships with the recyclers on Recylce mission.
You can recycle with two ships- Recylcers and Tankers(the special ship of the Confederation race)

This is not bug, it is one of the new features of uni1 which was made after the restart.

In the very beginning you decide- Ships or defence.And build what you've chosen.
About the fleetsave, called "Saven" in the bulfleet fields,.
When you send away the ships from your planet you also take and the resource which is on the planet.NEVER leave your fleet when you are away.

I think he asks about the meaning of the word in general , not in the game.

In most of the ways no one can help you and there are not any kind of reinforcements.

As you understood from posts above, you can not specify what resource to steal.You take half (50 %) of the resource which is on the planet.If you do not have enough ships , as in your case, the first resource that you will take from is the metal.
